I'm behind by lots of pictures, but they'll be up sometime soon. Jonathan's Nanny and Grandpa came to visit while David was at a conference, and he got to visit his great-grandma Amma and great gradparents Grammy and Gramps. His Aunt Kimie and Uncle Daniel have been staying with us for a good bit of the last two weeks, too. So much fun! While his Mom is back at work full-force, on call on the cardiology floor, Jonathan's having a blast spending extra time with family and his Daddy. And he continues to learn so much, so fast. That night on video (see below), he started sitting, and loves to play sitting on his own now, banging around his toys. He's fascinated with faces, and will spend forever touching our faces, pulling my hair and grasping at our cheeks and lips with his little baby fingers.
Happy Valentine's Day! For Valentine's Day, Jonathan let me sleep. This day couldn't be better, and it's only 10am. Post-call yesterday, I came home and had lots of time to play with Jonathan. We had a great afternoon together, though my brain was a bit buzzed on the complete lack of sleep from a long night before. But today I'm off. And last night Jonathan slept straight through the night (!!!), and after his early morning feed, he and Daddy played while I slept until 9am for the first time in who knows how long. Now we've played some more, Jonathan's down for a nap, and David's preparing breakfast. It's only 10AM, and this Valentine's Day is already the best ever.
