put in a plea for an ASAP appointment. Thankfully, he saw her that very afternoon.

Abby got busy with two lawn mowers and Jonathan made friends with another 3 year old boy while we waited for audiology and ENT appointments.

The kids had wrestling matches with a selection of toy carnivores they found in the exam room. The ENT saw Abby's infection was worsening despite antibiotics and scheduled us for surgery the next morning.
At 6:00am we arrived at the hospital this morning.

Abby had a great time car surfing and seemed determined to see an orthopedist as well.

Eventually we were called into the preop area - yet another waiting room.

By this time Abby was crying for milk and crackers and was quite irritated at the ID band in her wrist.

Fun bubbles cheered her up a bit.

And soon she was back to business pushing Baby around.
Finally they called her back to the OR. The surgery to put in her war tubes was quick and simple, and we're hopeful her infections will resolve now.

20 minutes later I was back in the PACU with her as she finished waking up and gladly accepted her soppy cup.
When we got home she ate a few dozen blueberries and raspberries, a bowl of cereal, and a cup of milk and is definitely on the mend!

Wow, on re-read, that's definitely an iPhone post! She had EAR infections and got EAR tubes, not war tubes for war infections :)
