"More Nonnie Papa!"

Jonathan adores his grandparents. He now runs to the computer when we tell him Halmony & Hariboge or Nonnie & Papa are on Skype and talks about them long after visits. He also thinks Mommy's cell phone is a direct link to Nonnie... which is more or less the case. It wasn't long ago I found him holding my phone saying "Nana!?" Out of curiosity I tipped my ear to the phone and, yes, in fact his Nonnie was on the phone! In fact, she'd called, and he'd managed to answer and was thrilled to hear her voice. Immediately he began asking for Papa, too. To his knowledge the two are rarely apart. He immensely enjoyed their recent visit. These are some of the photos we took at the park and riding the train.

Jonathan's become quite the tree hugger. For reasons we don't understand, a few weeks ago he began insisting the trees need to be hugged. Some days we have to hug every tree we pass on a walk. Other day's it's just some of the favorites. The big Ash in our front yard, which Mommy doesn't particularly like, gets at least one hug a day. (Maybe he heard me telling David that tree really needs to go?) He spreads his arms open and gets his little cheek right up against the bark. We caught a picture of this tree getting a little toddler love.
